KATHMANDU, Jan 8: The standing committee meeting of CPN-UML is underway at the residence of the party chairperson KP Sharma Oli.

The meeting is mainly focused on the party’s view for the meeting of unification coordination committee with CPN (Maoist Center) scheduled for Tuesday. Similarly, the party will discuss the contemporary issues of the country.

The chairmen of two parties held serious talks on Sunday on taking ahead of the party unification bids to a conclusion and formation of a new government as well as the constitution of the National Assembly. 

The two parties are preparing to set up a joint working committee and its working area during the unification coordination committee meeting.
