BIRTAMODE March 4: Main opposition CPN-UML has expanded its central committee. The central committee meeting held in Birtamode has nominated 22 members from Terai-Madhesh region as the central members, optional members and advisors.


Raghubir Mahaseth, Dharmanath Prasad Shah, Ramchandra Yadav, Dharmanath Yadav, Ganga Yadav, Ramdayal Mandal, Rabindra Baitha, Ramchandra Shah, Harinarayan Mahato, Ratneshwore Goit, Lal Babu Yadav and Yadubansha  Jha have been nominated as the central member of the party.

Likewise, Julie Mahato, Naradmani Rana, Manju Chowdhary, Shanta Chaowdhary, Hari Rajbanshi, Saroj Yadav, Sudhir Shah and Sarala Yadav have been nominated as the alternate members.


The meeting has nominated Hanuman Chowdhary and Mayaram Chowdhary from Province 7 as the central advisory members, according to head of party promotional department, Yogesh Bhattarai.


The party is launching Mechi-Mahakali campaign on Saturday from Jhapa for which most of  the party cadres have already gathered in the district.
