Himalayan into final
HETAUDA: Himalayan Sherpa Club (HSC) on Saturday confirmed their berth in the final of the Second National Workers’ Cup Football Tournament. HSC defeated PLA Sports Club 3-1 in the semifinal played in Hetauda. Deepak Rai gave HSC the lead in the 53rd minute and Rabin BK equalized in the 80th minute. After the regular time ended in a draw with both teams scoring a goal each, Dinesh Karki and Sam Mabiro scored in the second half of added time to guide HSC into the final. HSC will meet the winners of RCT and NRT in the final.
