SPORTS BRIEFS: Nat´l handball team announced

KATHMANDU: Nepal Handball Association (NHA) on Sunday announced the national team for the upcoming South Asian Men´s Beach Handball Tournament. The tournament is scheduled to be held in Faisalabad, Pakistan from March 27-30. The selected players are Amar Shrestha, Bimal Adhikari, Pradeep Rasaili, Birendra Chand, Shree Bahadur Sinjali, Sunil Khatri, Jakta Bahadur Shrestha and Madan Chunara. Rabin Dhauvadel is the team manager while Jayant Kumar Sharma and Arun Lal Karna are the coaches of the team. According to NHA, Nepali referee Sandesh Kumar Regmi and Chitra Bahadur Thapa will also attend the tournament as match officials.
