Tenzin Choyang of the hosts was declared the most valuable player while Tenzing Norbu of Young Hearts won the highest scorer of the tournament award. Daffodil Public School were awarded the fair play award.
Altogether 16 schools from the capital participated in the nine-day tournament held from June 10.

KATHMANDU, June 18: Nepal Army Club provided Rs 16,000 for the treatment of taekwondo player Ashok Khadka who broke his leg during the Second International Taekwondo Championships 2008, Lucknow.
Lieutenant Colonel Min Dhwaj Khadka handed over the amount to Olympian Sangina Baidya on behalf of Army Club on Friday.
Likewise, Kaski district´s taekwondo working committee president Jagan Bahadur Gurung and Eighth SAG gold medalist Ritu Jimi Rai handed over Rs 15,000 and Rs 7,000 respectively for Khadka´s treatment.
Khadka has been undergoing treatment at Orthopaedic Hospital, Jorpati for the last 14 months.
