KATHMANDU: Shankar Dev Campus lifted the trophy of Madan Bhandari Cup Valley-wide Inter-college Men´s Volleyball Tournament defeating Nepal Commerce Campus (NCC) on Tuesday. In the final, Shankar Dev beat NCC 33-31, 25-19, 25-23. In the third-place playoff, Public Youth Campus beat Baneshwar Campus by 3-0 sets. With the win, Shankar Dev bagged Rs 50,000 while NCC settled for Rs 30,000. Public Youth Campus received Rs 20,000.

KATHMANDU: Loyalty A advanced into the semifinals of the Fourth Valley-wide Inter-school Junior Boys´ Knockout Football Tournament on Tuesday. Loyalty defeated Pushpa Sadan 2-1 with a brace from Tshering Kalden Sherpa while Adarsha Lama scored the consolation goal for Pushpa Sadan. In another match, four goals from Sandip Devkota helped Deep Jyoti thrash TIA 8-0. Sandip Gautam and Roshan Tamang added two goals each.
Shree Kumari keeps title hope afloat
KATHMANDU: Shree Kumari Club kept afloat its hope of winning the title as it defeated second placed Samaj kalyan Khelkud Parisad 2-1 on Tuesday in the Red Bull C Division National League under way in the capital.
