Hamal sets final with Kayastha
KATHMANDU: FIDE Master Manish Hamal set up the title clash with Madan Krishna Kayastha of GoldenGate College in the First Cooperative Cup Chess Tournament being held in Lalitpur. Hamal defeated Rajan Puri of Lalitpur in sudden death in the semifinal while Kayastha edged past Niraj Niraula of Jhapa with an identical result to the first semifinal. The winner will receive a Yamaha motorbike while the runner-up will bag Rs 50,000.
