KATHMANDU, April 3: New singles release every week and it’s all hot and happening on the airwaves around town but not so much in the clubs, the last time we checked in. If only Kathmandu’s DJ’s checked out Top Spin on Republica, they’d know what Kathmanduites are listening to. However, you are reading this and you’re about to know what singles are making big at the moment. Read on and get music-fied! [break]

Rihanna featuring Future – Loveee Song

With the recent cut off Rihanna’s current disc ‘Unapologetic’, RiRi proves once again that she can set, and often raise, the bar for modern pop music. There are hard-hitting club songs, feel-good dance jams and a surprising abundance of heartfelt ballads, all of which showcase Rihanna´s voice in ways the listener hasn´t heard before. Well, categorized under the latter is “Loveee Song” – an amazing collaboration with Future. Definitely worth listening to!

Nicole Scherzinger – Boomerang

Former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger has revealed one more single that is going to be included in her upcoming album. Backed with powerful synthesizers and a pulsing dance-pop beat courtesy of Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am, “Boomerang” is a club friendly track that is eyeing higher ranks on charts. On the other hand, as the title suggests, the lyrics is all about her ability to always turn things around for the better. You need to judge how this sounds. We think it sounds fantastic!

Will.i.am featuring Justin Bieber – That Power

Will.i.am teamed up with Britney Spears for “Scream and Shout”, the first single off his fourth solo album titled ‘#Willpower’, and now he’s collaborated with another huge pop star, Justin Bieber. JB is slowly being considered to be featured by other artists and this happens to be one of them. The new duet is called “That Power” which of course happens to be an auto tune drenched dance track. Do listen when you have the time.

Kat Deluna featuring Costi – Always on my Mind

Who doesn’t like Kat Deluna, especially for her hits “Am I Dreaming” and “Whine Up”? You’re going to have more reasons to love her, thanks to her fresh offering “Always on my Mind”. Featuring Dr Costi, it’s got a catchy hook and a very Caribbean feel to it. However, it sounds a lot like Jojo’s smash “Baby, It’s you” but it’s so infectious, we think one can overlook that fact.

Sean Kingston featuring Chris Brown & Wiz Khalifa – Beat It

“Beautiful Girls” hitmaker Sean Kingston returns to the scene with a brand new single! “Beat It” is the lead track off his upcoming album ‘Back 2 Life’. In addition to sharing its title with one of Michael Jackson‘s biggest hits, the joint packs not one but two top-shelf guest features; “Steel City” hitmaker Wiz Khalifa and R&B giant Chris Brown. The record seems to have all the makings of a hit and the trio seems to have good times rolling. You definitely need to listen to this!

Caro Emerald – Tangled Up

Ceelo Green featuring Lauriana – Only You

Alex Hepburn – Under

David Archuleta – Don’t Run Away
