Speaker should use legal power: Mahato

BIRATNAGAR, Dec 11: Supply Minister and Sadhbhawana Party leader Rajendra Mahato has said the Speaker should use his constitutional power to clear parliament hurdles.



For that, the Speaker doesn´t need consensus of political parties, he said speaking at a function in Biratnagar Saturday. [break]



He claimed that the present peace process, constitution drafting and other crucial issues have been overshadowed due to the three major parties.



Saying that prices of petroleum products and cooking gas have to be hiked under sheer compulsion, he said that the state has no policy to provide how much discount on which fuel prices.
