Speaker Sapkota urges all to contribute for a successful census

KATHMANDU, Nov 13: Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Agni Prasad Sapkota urged all bodies concerned to contribute to a successful census in order to meet the necessity of the country.

KATHMANDU, Nov 13: Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Agni Prasad Sapkota urged all bodies concerned to contribute to a successful census in order to meet the necessity of the country. 


Stating that the census is important for bringing good governance, prosperity, and development to the country, Sapkota stressed that everyone should help from their respective places to make the census successful. He also expressed his commitment to providing necessary assistance to make the census a success.

The ‘National Census 2078.’ which started on November 11, will conclude on November 25. 


As many as 40,000 enumerators and 8,500 supervisors have been deployed across the country under the ‘My count : My participation’ campaign to conduct the census. 


Speaker Sapkota also urged the Central Bureau of Statistics to pay attention to the enumerators and supervisors deployed for the task to collect quality data.
