A happy family of four
This family headed by 48-year-old Ganesh Magar and 41-year-old Maya Magar have been living in Kathmandu since the past 25 years. The Magar couple came to Kathmandu to work in a carpet factory. After three years of marriage, they had their first child, Rama. Their second child, Reshma, soon followed. Along with the family, the difficulty of providing for them also grew. So, Ganesh opted to work in Qatar. He spent seven years there.
A shout-out to graceful souls
While Ganesh was away, his wife Maya took care of their daughters. Maya also took up a job for better financial stability. Contemplating the struggle of their parents, daughters Rama Magar (20) and Reshma Magar (18), wish for their parents’ better future. Their mother is happy with the fact that the daughters have always been understanding. Ganesh is no less ecstatic. He expressed, “They have taken our hardships upon themselves. My wish is not to see my angels struggle the way I did. All I have is a peaceful family which I adore, and missed when I was abroad.”
