Some looted police goods recovered

UDAYAPUR, May 13: Police have recovered some of the goods looted by cadres of Kirat Workers Party 10 days ago from a police post at Nanthula, Khotang.



A police team found some missing goods on Thursday morning from Mala village in Bijayakharka VDC, police said. They recovered goods including a pair of shoes, combat fatigues and two belts from the house of one Man Bahadur Karki, whose son Subas Karki is said to be a member of the armed outfit and was allegedly involved in police station raid.



Subas is at large.



The party had looted five .303 rifles, 375 bullets, a Chinese pistol with 16 bullets and a walkie-talkie.
