Smuggled goods seized in Morang

MORANG, Dec 25: Police here have stepped up efforts to control cross-border smuggling of goods.



On Thursday night police seized goods smuggled into Nepal. Police teams from Armed Police Force Battalion, Tankisinuwari and Rangeli Base Camp impounded goods worth Rs 150,000 from several places in Morang district.



Among others, 61 sacks of sugar, edible oil and cloths were seized, police said, adding the seized goods have been handed over to Biratnagar Customs Office.
