Everest Skydiving and Tara Air jointly conducted the test flight. Pilots flew a flight from Chhine Danda of Pokhara and landed at under construction international airport.[break]
Four foreign pilots, including Windi Smith of New Zealand, and two Nepalese took part in the test flight.
After the skydiving, Chairman of Everest Skydiving Suman Pandey said that Pokhara is one of the best places for skydiving. The test flight will be run till Tuesday.
Pandey said commercial skydiving will start following the success of the test flight. Internal and external tourists will come to Pokhara for skydiving and it will help promote tourism, he said.
