“We have unveiled introductory discounted prices for the new Fabia variants. Active Plus is priced at Rs 2.29 million, Ambition Plus at Rs 2.57 million and the higher end Elegance at Rs 2.69 million," said Deepak Agrawal, general manager of Skoda MAW.[break]
The company will deliver all the booked vehicles during the formal launch of the new variants in April.
All the new variants of Skoda Fabia will have 1.2 liter petrol engines. It will have maximum power of 75 PS and a torque of 110 Nm, which is the highest in its segment. The ground clearance for each variant is 172 mm and the luggage compartment is 315 liters, more than any vehicle in its class, according to Skoda MAW.
“Skoda Fabia has been designed with thoughtful features to impart driving pleasure to its driver and passengers. All the variants of the new Skoda Fabia have rear fog lights, halogen headlights with manual leveling, and rear air conditioning vents under front seats,” said Agrawal.
In addition, all variants have unique features in the premium hatchback class such as telescopic steering which enable the driver to position the steering for comfortable driving and rough road package, which help protect the bottom of the car from bumps which is very necessary for the rough roads of Nepal. The higher end Elegance variant comes with extra features such as alloy wheels and ABS.
The new Fabia will be available in Candy White, Capuccino Bege, Deep Black Pearl, Brilliant Silver and Flash Red colors.
“We are aiming to sell 100 units of Fabia within this year,” said Agrawal.
