Despite having higher displacement, Deepak Agrawal, general manager of Skoda M.A.W, said the car gives mileage of 14.8 kmpl. The car has the most spacious luggage compartment of 315 liters in its class and has ground clearance of 172 mm.
The Fabia 1.6 has rear fog lights, halogen headlights with manual leveling, and rear air conditioning vents under front seats. Besides, it has alloy wheels, ABS, airbags, power doors and windows with remote key. The new Fabia variant is equipped with rough road package that help protect the bottom of the car from bumps.

The new car has very good safety features with a chassis that is approved for Europe level safety standards and patented technologies such as Engine Braking Control (EBC) and Dual Rate Brake Assist (DRBA), which helps control the car during sudden braking.
“Existing Fabia consumers are unable to experience the spaciousness and luxury of the car. Now as it is available in an increased displacement, they will be able to experience the thrill of the power of Fabia,” said Agrawal.
The Fabia 1.6 is available in five attractive color options -- flash red, beige black pearl, cappuccino beige, candy white and brilliant silver. It is priced at Rs 2.84 million.
With the fresh addition, customers will now have the option to choose from four Fabia variants -- Active Plus, Ambition Plus and the higher-end Elegance -- all of which are of 1.2 liters and the newly introduced Fabia 1.6. The price of Fabia starts from Rs 2.29 million.
