SKIF coaches off to Tokyo

KATHMANDU, April 1: Nepal Shotokan Karate Association (SKIF) coaches Niwas Gopal Baidhya and Om Narayan Shrestha on Wednesday left for Tokyo, Japan, to participate in the second SKIF International Seminar to be held there from April 3 to 5.



Baidhya is the chief coach and vice president of the association and Shrestha is senior coach and secretary. The duo will participate in technical seminar, referee seminar and dan grading.

According to the association, the seminar being organized by Shotokan Karate Do International Federation, Japan, will see participation of representatives from more than 70 countries.


Association President Naresh Prasad Shrestha and Nepal Karate Federation President Dawa Gurung among other bade farewell to them ahead of their departure on Wednesday.
