KATHMANDU, Sept 28: Ministry of Youth and Sports has appointed six members at the vacant position of the National Sports Council (NSC) on Monday.

According to a bulletin issued by the NSC on Monday, they were nominated by the cabinet meeting of September 20. Sailesh Karmacharya (Kathmandu), Upendra Kumar Yadav (Siraha), Shanti Singh Chhetri (Banke), Yam Kumari Gurung (Parbat), Birendra Shrestha (Lalitpur) and Upendra Kumar Paudel (Kathmandu) are the newly-appointed members.
Minister for Youth and Sports Purusottam Paudel administered oath of office and secretary to the new members on Monday at the ministry.
