Six judges promoted

KATHMANDU, Nov 26: The Judicial Council (JC) on Friday promoted six judges to the post of chief judges of various appellate courts.



Those promoted to the post include Bishwonath Joshi, Gopal Parajuli, Dipak Raj Joshi, Durga Uprety, Govinda Kumar Nepal and Keshav Mainali. Bishwonath has been appointed as the chief judge of Tulsipur Appellate court while Parajuli, Dipakraj, Uprety, Nepal and Mainali have been appointed as the chief judges of Biratnagar, Dipayal, Mahendranagar, Butwal and Nepalgunj appellate courts respectively.[break]
