NAC bringing in 400 units of oxygen cylinders and 20 ventilators from China 


KATHMANDU, May 11: A total of six international flights including an ambulance flight are taking place at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday.

According to the TIA Civil Aviation Office, airlines including Himalaya Airlines, Nepal Airlines, Tyrol Air Ambulance and Qatar Executive will carry out chartered, cargo and ambulance flights to and from Nepal. Meanwhile, a Nepal Airlines aircraft is bringing in oxygen cylinders from China on Tuesday. The national flag carrier sent its A-330 aircraft to Beijing last night.  


Similarly, an ambulance flight from Dubai is scheduled to land at Nepal’s international airport at 3:45 PM (local time). The aircraft will later head to Lucknow, India.  


A cargo flight of Himalaya Airlines from Kunming, China touched down at TIA this morning whereas another Himalaya Airlines flight to the same city is scheduled to depart this evening.
