KATHMANDU, Jan 23: Sita Dahal, the spouse of CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, has contracted COVID-19.
Maoist Center Chairman Dahal's private secretary Ramesh Malla said the infection was confirmed in Sita Dahal through a PCR test conducted on her two days back.
Now she is being treated at Mediciti Hospital in Lalitpur.
Malla said that Dahal is showing positive improvement in her health. Party Chair Dahal's Secretariat stated that a patient of Parkinson's disease for a long time, Sita Dahal has been undergoing treatment at ICU at the Mediciti Hospital for the last three days. She will stay in the hospital for a few more days.
