All the schools, marketplace and factories are closed and transportation has come to a halt. Only cycles, rickshaws, bullock carts and motorcycles are plying on roads.
Police in large numbers have been mobilized in major roads.
Area Police Office, Kohalpur said the impact of shutdown is significant in the area as it has more population of people from Tharu community.
