Shrestha named as ambassador to France

KATHMANDU, Feb 5: The government has named Mohan Krishna Shrestha as a new ambassador to France.



A cabinet decision on Wednesday took a decision to this effect.



Shrestha is currently the chief of protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.



Sources at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers said that the parliament has been informed about the nomination and asked for a confirmation hearing of Shrestha.
