Shortest man takes citizenship certificate

KASKI, July 12: Khagendra Thapa Magar, who claims to be the shortest man in the world, has taken his certificate of Nepali citizenship from Baglung district on Sunday.



Khagendra, an inhabitant of Dhullubaskot-6, Baglung district, is only 20 inches in height and five kilograms in weight.



He was born on 14 October, 1992 as the eldest son of Rudra Bahadur Thapa Magar and Dhan Maya Thapa Magar.



His name has been applied to register in Guinness Book of World Records.



He has been admitted in Nursery in Saraswati Boarding School at Pokhara this year.
