Short video sharing platform 'Ramailo' now available on iPhone

KATHMANDU, Dec 9: The Nepali short video sharing platform 'Ramailo', which has gained popularity among users in a short span, is now accessible for iPhone users as well. Ghrendra Ghimire, co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of the app, informed that it can be downloaded and run by iPhone users from their app store.

Previously, the entertaining app was exclusively available for Android mobile phone users, but it is now open to iPhone users. Since the closure of TikTok, the platform for sharing short videos in Nepal has been downloaded more than 100,000 times in about two weeks. CEO Ghimire expressed confidence that iPhone users will also appreciate this app, stating, "iPhone users are very interested in entertainment. We are very excited to provide the app for them too."

He mentioned that the Android version of the app currently has about 100,000 active users daily. The company revealed that the app, which has gained significant popularity recently, is undergoing continuous improvement. The Idea Jar Company, maker for the app, is refining its features.

Ghimire informed that the app has now added features such as dark mode, shorts, and more. Additionally, users can engage in conversations with friends, go live, and undergo ID verification.

The company has stated that it is actively collecting user suggestions and making improvements accordingly. The 'Ramailo' app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store by clicking on the link http://bit.ly/3RyjaOs.
