The robbers entered Alka Fancy Center near the bus park pretending to be customers even as Narendra Raj Bhatta was preparing to shut the shop down.
The robbers thrashed him to unconsciousness, when he tried to resist.
Bhatta has been taken to Pillivi, India for treatment after excessive oral and nasal bleeding.
