Shrestha shared the lead with Bhuwan (Umesh) Nagarkoti at the end of third round, carding a one-under 71 in the final round for the total score of eight-under 280 to register a five-stroke victory over Bhuwan. The latter finished the last day with four-over 76 for the total score of three-under 285 in the eighth and final event under the Surya Nepal Golf Tour 2014-15.Shivaram was awarded a check of Rs 95,000 and the runner up Bhuwan of home club received Rs 60,000.
Sanjay Lama of Army Club shot two-under 70 to secure third position at two-under 286, while Surya Prasad Sharma (74) of RNGC and Dharan's Bal Bhadra Rai (72) shared the fourth position at one-under 287. Lama received Rs 44,000, while Bal Bhadra and Bishnu earned Rs 34,000 each.
Shivaram and Bhuwan were tied at seven-under before going into the final round while Bishnu was one-stroke behind in third place. Shivaram carded two-over 38 on the front nine and scored three-under 33 on the back nine. Bhuwan played one-over 37 on the front nine, while he faltered to three-over 39 on the back nine.
Shivaram shot bogeys on the sixth and eighth holes of the front nine, while he carded birdies on the 10th , 12th , 15th and 18th holes but registered a bogey on the 17th hole. Bhuwan dropped shots on the first and seventh holes against a birdie on the third hole. On the back nine, Bhuwan carded a birdie on the 13th hole but double bogeyed on the 14th and a bogey each on 10th and 16th holes.
Sanjay carded the best score of the day to climb to third place. Lama carded birdies on the third and fourth holes against a bogey on the sixth hole before taking the turn. On the back nine, Lama carded birdies on the 11th and 12thholes against a bogey on the 16th hole.
Bikash Bogati won the amateur title with the total score of eight-over 296 after he carded even-par 72 in the final round. Tanka Bahadur Karki was a distant second at 305 after he shot five-over 77.
