ARGHAKHANCHI, May 27: A seven-year-old child was killed by a tiger at Amaldanda in Wangla of Sandhikharka Municipality-4, Arghakhanchi.
Samrat Nepali of Resunga in Gulmi, who was living at his maternal uncle's home in Sandhikharka, died after a man-eater tiger attacked him when he was playing on Thursday, Deputy Superintendent of Police of District Police Office, Amar Bahadur Thapa said.
Nepali was a Grade 2 student at Bhagawati Basic School in Wangla.
DSP Thapa said the locals informed the police after the boy's dead body was recovered about one kilometer away from his home.
