Seven-year-old boy missing for few days found dead

MAHENDRANAGAR (Dhanusha), March 2: A seven-year-old boy of Dhanusha who had gone missing last Monday was found dead on Wednesday evening.

The dead body of Rupesh Yadav, son of Rajaram Yadav of Paterwa-1 was recovered from a wheat field near his house yesterday evening, the District Police Office (DPO) Dhanusha said. 

He had been reported missing since Monday as he went to the house of a neighbor of the Yadav family to attend a feast, the Office added.

Police suspected that the boy was strangulated to death with the help necklace he was wearing at that time. The Yadav family visited the DPO Dhanusha the following day Tuesday to report about his disappearance. They hoped that the boy must have gone to school after lunch and would return home in the evening. They informed the police the next day after he did not return home.

The child was suspected to be murdered after adduction. RSS
