TANAHUN, Sept 12: A youth from Byas municipality – 3 missing since the last eight days was found dead in a river. 

Chandra Kumar Kayastha's elder son, Krishna Kayastha, went missing on Sept 4 and was found a week after on Monday evening. His body was spotted floating along the Bagai stretch of a river at Devghat rural municipality – 5. 

The police have taken under control four youths who went swimming with Kayastha for investigation, District Police Office, Tanahun said. The family members had filed a complaint with the police suspecting a murder case as the four individuals failed to inform the family of the incident and also kept Kayastha's mobile phone set with them. 

The locals, family members and Nepal Police personnel found the body during the search, Sub Inspector Manoj Pandey said. The family identified the body with help of a bracelet on Kayastha's wrist. His body has been taken to the Damauli Hospital for a post-mortem examination. RSS
