Police nabbed a group of drug traffickers and a Pokhara bound vehicle (Ba 6 Cha 1188) from Birgunj in Aanbukhairani-6 of the district along the Prithvi Highway as per the tip off.[break]
A team of police under the command of police inspector Bishnubar Singh Thapa arrested Hari Om Kumar Kurmi, 19, Chandreshwor Kumar Chaudhary, 19, Emtiyaj Alam, 21, of Alau VDC-5 and Sudarshan Kumar Dhanuk, 34, of Birgunj-15 of Parsa district with 300 bottles of morphine, 300 strips of diazepam and 100 tablets of nitrogen.
Police have taken under control the narcotics, arrested people and the vehicle for further investigation into the case.
Similarly, police held Manoj Gurung of Khairanitar-9 of the district with 85 strips of phenergan and 93 strips of diazepam this morning, said Area Police Office Belchautara.
Likewise, Ganesh Nepali of Dulegaunda-7 and Yam Kumar Malla of Chhang-5 of the district were also arrested with narcotics, said police.
