KATHMANDU, Jan 14: Nepal branch of 'Everest World Class Taekwondo' based in America is organizing 'Second Everest National Open Taekwondo Competition' from January 16 in Kathmandu.
According to the director of competition Sanjeev Fuyal, the three-day tournament will be held in Taekwondo Academy Hall at Sathdobato, Lalitpur.

Similarly, 1200 sportspersons are competing in Gyorgy and Poomsae categories for 110 gold medals, 110 silver medals and 220 bronze medals in the tournament.
Likewise, the winning team will receive a cash prize of Rs 1, 00, 000, first runner up will receive Rs 50,000 and the second runner up will receive Rs 25, 000. Similarly, two best judges in the tournament will also be awarded with a cash prize of Rs 10,000 each. Furthermore, the organizing team has decided to provide the best and economically weak Dojang from all seven provinces with sports material worth Rs 1, 50,000.
According to the founding chairman of Everest World Class Taekwondo Kumar Karki, the tournament aims to haunt talents.
