KATHMANDU, Oct 9: The Supreme Court (SC) has issued a show-cause order in the name of the government over the removal of Sajha Publications Chairperson and General Manager Dolendra Prasad Sharma.
A single bench of justice Deepak Raj Joshi ordered the government to show the cause behind the removal of Sharma from the post.
Sharma had registered a writ petition at the apex court on Sunday arguing that he was relieved of his post without giving him a single opportunity for clarification.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers on 24 September had decided to sack Sharma from the position on charges of corruption and irregularities. (RSS)
