Scorching heat throws life out of gear in far-western Nepal

DHANGADI, June 25 ): Increasing heat in Kailali and Kanchanpur, districts in province 7, has adversely affected normal life. Children, aged and working-class people have been additionally affected by the adverse weather condition.

DHANGADI, June 25 ): Increasing heat in Kailali and Kanchanpur, districts in province 7, has adversely affected normal life. Children, aged and working-class people have been additionally affected by the adverse weather condition. 



The number of patients visiting health facilities with complaints of breathing difficulties, fever, headache, and nausea and vomiting has significantly increased. 



People are forced to stay indoors to avoid hotter days and some have started going for outing up to Budhitola of Chure hill and Khani hill, relatively cooler areas, to avoid the unbearable heat. 



The district has witnessed none of the monsoon rain and this has made farmers waiting for a favorable atmosphere for water-fed rice transplantation sad. Implications of dryness resulted in from lack of precipitations have started seen on agriculture. 

There was a brief rain accompanied by windstorm here three days ago, said farmer Hari Chaudhary. 



Maximum temperature here has reached 41 degree Celsius. RSS
