DAMAULI, May 5: Six community schools in Anbukhaireni rural municipality are on the verge of closure due to lack of teachers.
The situation has surfaced after the results of the teachers' exam were published by the Education Service Commission. The affected schools are Icchakamana primary school and Chimkeswari primary school in ward no. 2, Rudra Devi primary school, Indradevi primary school in ward no. 4, and Milan primary school and Krishna primary school in ward no. 6 of the rural municipality.
Teachers of the school either failed the examinations or have resigned leading to the situation, said chief of the education department at the rural municipality Sadhuram Poudel.
