School head master Ratna Bahadur Nepali and school management committee chairperson Prem Prasad Subedi are allegedly involved in misappropriating the fund allocated for scholarship, snacks, building and furniture in Ambika primary school, Lusakot.
Though an assembly of guardians sacked both the chairperson and head master from their posts forcing them to deposit the amount, they have not yet returned the embezzlement fund even after six months, said incumbent head master Pancha Kumar Subedi.
The authority concerned is not sensitive enough to control the growing trend of corruption in educational sector, according to the school students. Some 256 children are pursuing their study in the school.
