KATHMANDU, March 2: Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd (SCBNL) has provided 20 units of wheelchairs and 25 pairs of crutches to Khagendra Navajeevan Kendra, Jorpati.
Issuing a statement, the bank said that it provided the support materials to celebrate the International Wheelchair Day. The support materials were brought from the funds collected from Staff Family Food Fest and Fun organized by the bank last year, according to the statement. Joseph Silvanus, CEO of the bank, handed over the materials to Mohan Maharjan, chairman of Khagendra Navajeevan Kendra, according to the statement.
The bank had also provided snacks to 70 physically challenged residents of Khagendra Navajeevan Kendra during the function, the statement added.
