KATHMANDU, June 9: The Supreme Court (SC) has issued a show cause order to the government on the case of the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) refusing to issue an interim order.
The writ petitioners had demanded the apex court to issue an interim order to reinstate the HoR.
The hearing on the case has been scheduled to be held continuously from June 23.
A hearing on the case of HoR dissolution was conducted today by the Constitutional Bench formed earlier by Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana. The hearing was scheduled for Wednesday after CJ Rana fell ill on Monday.
