KATHMANDU, Oct 11: The Supreme Court has ordered the authority concerned to present Ruby Khan, who came to Kathmandu from Nepalgunj, to demand justice. A single bench of Justice Deepak Kumar Karki on Sunday ordered the police to produce Khan before the court within 24 hours.

Banke police had arrested Khan from Kathmandu saying that they have started investigation into the case of polygamy against Nepalgunj-based human rights activist Khan. She was arrested by the Metropolitan Police Circle, Singha Durbar from Maitighar on Friday evening.
Advocate Mohna Ansari had filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court on Sunday alleging that Khan was illegally detained. The Supreme Court has ordered police to present Khan before the court on Monday.
