During its third match, Sankata defeated Tusal Youth Club 2-1 to go top of the table pushing Madhyapur Youth Association to second spot. [break]
Sankata has nine points while second and third placed Madhyapur and Birgunj Youth Academy have six points each, but both teams have a game in hand. Tushal, yet to win a point, is at the bottom of the table.
In Friday´s match, Sankata scored a goal in either half. Sumin Mainali opened scoring in the 18th minute and Bikash Tamang doubled the advantage in the 70th minute. Shyambabu Magar cut the deficit in the 76th minute for Tusal.
In another match, Trinity Club of Syangja and Chyasal Youth Club earned their first points playing 1-1 draw. Trinity missed the chance of earning full points after Sandesh Katwal hit an own goal during the end of the game providing Chyasal the equalizer.
Earlier, Trinity had taken the lead in the 62nd minute through Sushil Lama. With the result bottom placed Trinity moved a spot above to seventh while Chyasal remained steady in the sixth position. Both the teams have a point each.
