Sanima Bank supports Rs. 2.1m to Dhurmus Suntali Foundation

KATHMANDU, Mar 2:  Sanima Bank has financially supported Dhurmus Suntali foundation with Rs 2.1 million as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility.

According to a press released on Friday, the bank has stated that the bank has contributed Rs 2.1 million to the foundation as part of Corporate Social Responsibility to mitigate the shortfall fund to construct Santapur lntegrated Model Settlement.

Board Member of the bank, Tuk Prasad Paudel handed over a cheque to duo Sitaram Kattel (Dhurmus) and Kunjana Ghimire (Suntali) of the foundation amidst a special program on Friday and praised the work done by the foundation and expressed his gratitude on being associated with the foundation.

During the program Sitaram Kattel said that Santapur project was completed within the projected time and cost, the grant provided by Sanima Bank was the highest from banking sector till date and he thanked the bank for the support. He also added that deficit fund is now managed with the financial support from the bank and commitment from few others.

Likewise, Kunjana Ghimire expressed her gratitude to the bank for trusting Dhurmus Suntali Foundation, and she took this financial support as an honor to the foundation.

Bhuvan Dahal, Chief Executive Officer of Sanima Bank expressed gratification to Kattel and Ghimire for not limiting themselves only in acting but also contributing towards social work. He also added that bank has to learn management skills from the team regarding completion and handing over the project by the foundation within the stipulated time frame.

Sanima bank has been organizing education scholarship and other various programs since 2012. Currently, the bank has the lowest Non-Performing Loan (NPL) and has 58 branches, 1 extension counter and 67 ATM networks all over Nepal.

After completion of earthquake affected houses and Musahar community, currently, Foundation has handed over Santapur Integrated Model Settlement to flood-affected on February 6, 2018, amidst a program.
