BIRGUNJ, Oct 28: Pramod Prasad Sah of ward no. 12 of Birgunj Metropolitan City has joined Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP). He was associated with the Nepali Congress (NC) for the past 28 years.
Sah left NC and joined JSP on the initiative of Pradeep Yadav, a former member of the House of Representative from Parsa constituency no. 1 and a former minister.

Sah, who was also an active member of NC, joined JSP on Thursday. In an informal event on Thursday, former minister Yadav welcomed Shah to the party.
He said that he had chosen JSP because it is the only party that fights for the rights of Madhesh and Madheshis in the current situation.
