Lama from Sindhupalchowk earned the highest 9.65 points in thaulo under men´s taichi to secure first position. Hari Prasad Gole of Makawanpur with 8.80 points and Dhruba Raj Neupane with 7.60 points claimed silver and bronze medals respectively.
Sani Shrestha of Armed Police Force (APF) claimed gold in nanquan under men´s thaulo. He earned 8.75 points. Bishal Thapa Sinjali of Kathmandu finished second with 8.70 points while Som Bahadur Moktan of Rupandehi took third position with 8.45 points. In the same event under women´s section, Bidya Maharjan of Kathmandu won gold with eight points while Manisha Raut of Kailali came second with 7.10 points. Bandana Karmacharya finished third with 5.90 points.
Similarly, men´s chanchuan gold under thaulo went to Nirajan Ale Magar of Lalitpur. Ale Magar secured 9.05 points to finish ahead of Bijay Sinjali of Kathmandu. Sinjali earned 8.80 points to take silver while Rinji Sherpa of Dolakha scored 8.45 points for bronze. Sushmita Tamang of Bhaktapur won the women´s event scoring 8.95 points. Oshin Rai of Kathmandu with 7.40 points and Mina Ghalan of Nuwakot with 7.20 points secured second and third positions respectively.
Meanwhile, Ashok Khaling of Udayapur and Tek Srimal of Kailali have confirmed at least bronze in men´s 48 kg sansau securing semifinal berths.
