KATHMANDU, July 8: The South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) U-16 Championship will be held in Sylhet, Bangladesh from August 7- 16.
The ANFA Academy U-16 that was finalized on July 3 will be representing the country in the championship. There are a total of 31 players in the U-16 section.

The selection process started from early April but the final selection phase was postponed due to the earthquake on April 25. Some of the U-14 players, who took part in recently held AFC U-14 Regional Festival of Football in Tajikistan, have been included in U-16 Academy.
All the member associations of the SAFF will be competing in the championship.
