Sadbhawana leaders worship for Mahato’s recovery, meet Indian leaders

RAUTAHAT, Jan 4: Worships have been performed at a temple in Muzaffarpur, India wishing for speedy recovery of Chairman of Sadbhawana Party Rajendra Mahato injured in police action.

Leaders of the party led by party’s central member Yogendra Raya Yadav worshiped at Kali Temple in the Indian state of Bihar.


Mahato Mahato, who got injured in a police clash during a sit-in at Jogbani checkpoint on December 26, is receiving treatment in New Delhi.

In course of their visit, the leaders also met Indian leaders and canvassed for their support in Madhes protest.

They met President of Rashtriya Janata Dal Lalu Prasad Yadav, leader of Bharatiya Janata Party Sushil Modi and vice-president of Janata Dal Raghubansa Narayan Singh.

During the meet, BJP leader Modi suggested the Nepali leaders to pile pressure on the government through Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“Our voices will be left unheard, press the government through the PM,” he told the leaders.
