Rupandehi into Tilottama semis

BHAIRAHAWA, March 11: The host Rupandehi XI has advanced into semifinals of the ongoing 20th Tilottama Gold Cup football tournament with a 3-1 win over Nawalparasi XI on Saturday.  At the ANFA Technical Center ground in Devi Nagar, Butwal, Rupandehi’s Ashok Thapa scored a brace and Nishan Limbu bagged a goal in the win. Nawalparasi’s foreign player Koli scored a consolation.  Rupandehi’s Gaurav Budathoki was adjudged the man-of-the-match and awarded with Rs 11,000.  The departmental teams Armed Police Force and Nepal Police Club will take on each other on Sunday.
