Going into the break with one-goal cushion, the home team conceded four goals in the second half. Bikram Limbu, Ganesh Khadka, Victor and Shiva Shrestha netted one each for Rupandehi to stun the home supporters.
Birkam hit the equalizer in the 68th minute through a spectacular freekick from 20 yards. Ganesh made it 2-1 in the 79th minute capitalizing on a pass from African recruit Victor who netted the third goal. Victor widened the gap after he collected a misclearance of Hem Gurung in the latter's bid to defend Deepak Rai's corner.
Shiva hammered the final nail onto the coffin three minutes from time as the match ended 4-1. Earlier, Rajin Dhimal had put Dharan ahead in the 24th minute in his second attempt after his first attempt from the spot was blocked by goalie Dilip Chhetri. But Rajin was quick enough to send the ball into the net as he slammed in goalie Chhetri's rebounder.
Victor was declared the man-of-the-match and was awarded Rs 5000 .
