Dharan Jaycees all set to host Miss SEE

DHARAN, April 5: Dharan Jaycees is all set to host Tasty Tasty Miss SEE 2018 for SEE student to develop self-esteem, personality and skills of the students.

DHARAN, April 5: Dharan Jaycees is all set to host Tasty Tasty Miss SEE 2018 for SEE student to develop self-esteem, personality and skills of the students. 


Hosting a press meet at Baraha Kitchen in Dharan, the organizers said that promotional activities have already been started for the 5th edition of contest. The organizers said that application forms have been opened for interested contestants and auditions have started.  Applicants will be selected through an interview scheduled on April 13. Training will commence from April 19, according to media coordinator of the event, Ashish Raj Yadav. He further said: “Training will conclude on May 4, and the grand finale will be held on May 12. The contestants will get trained in personal development and will get a chance to build self-confidence as well as polish their social skills.”

According to creative director Gaurav Sanjel, people should have knowledge of different fields, learn skills and arts, and be capable at things that they cannot learn from formal education.  "The objective of this contest is to nurture the personality of SEE students, and train them in event hosting, public speaking, life skills, ramp walk, catwalk, leadership skills, creative writing, self defense and many more. It also aims to encourage the SEE student to utilize their free time,” Sanjel said.


The title winner will receive cash price of Rs 40,000 apart from crown, trophy, full scholarship from KK International School, a mobile set, and a chance to be brand ambassador of some commercial product. Likewise, the first runner-up and second runner-up will be awarded with Rs 35,000 and 30,000 respectively, along with crown and trophy.  Similarly, Miss Talent, Miss Beautiful, Miss Catwalk, Miss Photogenic, Miss Disciplined, Miss Personality, and Miss Popular will also be awarded appropriately, according to Jaycees Director Atul Shrestha.


SEE student of 2018, between 14 and 19 years of age, can apply for the contest. The candidate should be unmarried and should be at least five feet tall. They should also provide the consent of their parents.
