KATHMANDU, Sept 29: Ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) will be hosting a tea reception in Kathmandu on October 16 on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami, Deepawali, Nepal Sambat and Chhath festivals.
The party is going to invite around 100,000 people for the event to be held at Bhrikutimandap, the heart of the capital. Secretary at the NCP headquarters, Shreeram Dhakal told reporters that people from various walks of life including politicians, high-ranking government officials, civil society members, and artists, members of diplomatic community in Nepal and among others.

The reception will be addressed by the NCP chairman duo and senior leaders of the party.
The ruling party had hosted the reception in the same place last year.
