BIRATNAGAR, Oct 30: Chairperson of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the current ruling alliance is as strong as ever.
In a brief conversation with media persons at the Biratnagar Airport this morning, Nepal said that there was no discussion on the impeachment of Chief Justice Cholendra SJB Rana among the ruling alliance.
He also said that the chief minister of Province 1, Bhim Acharya would step down soon. Stating that Acharya would be replaced by parliamentary party leader of the CPN (Unified Socialist) of Province 1, Rajendra Kumar Rai, he accused the erstwhile government of undermining federalism, nationalism, and democracy.
Nepal also said that he has seen a wave of people joining his party from Mechi to Mahakali.
